Now, we’re looking for a Senior People Operations/HR Consultant to join our high-caliber team of advisors. This is your chance to partner with leaders across diverse industries, solve complex challenges, and design impactful people strategies that move the needle.

As a Consulting Accounting Associate for vcfo, you will:

  • Responsible for aspects of month-end close and year-end reporting; by executing account reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany transactions and accruals
  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Maintenance and compliance of financial policies and procedures
  • Support and coordination for annual audit
  • Recommend enhancements to analysis techniques and analytical processes and controls
  • Provide tactical support for funding activities (due diligence, documentation review, data mining for valuation support)
  • Process payroll

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Accounting or finance degree preferred
  • 5 – 7 years AP, AR and payroll experience
  • Previous experience as a Sr. Accountant, Accounting Manager, or Assistant Controller required
  • Knowledge of GAAP accounting
  • Experience in processing high volume invoices
  • Demonstrated competence in billing, general ledger software, Excel spreadsheets and overall general knowledge of system databases and master files
  • Accrual Accounting, Fixed Assets and Inventory
  • QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite experience required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience: exposure to pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
